THE FOUNDER

Mr. Toetoen Am Badar, SH is the founder of the Am Badar & Partners. Mr. Am Badar was born in Jakarta on July 17, 1937. He was appointed as one of the Patent Consultants by the Government, in accordance with the Patent Law No. 6/1989. Later on, based on the new Patent Law No. 14/2001, he was also appointed as a Consultant for Intellectual Property Rights in Indonesia. Now, he is the Senior Counselor and President Director of Am Badar & Partners.

Mr. Am Badar has memberships of various kinds of organizations, specializing in Intellectual Property Rights, such as AIPLA, INTA, AIPPI, APAA and ASEAN IPA. His memberships brought him into the broader scope of communication of Intellectual Property community that enabled him to get acquainted with more associates, as well as more potential clients. He also received several honorable memberships from numerous organizations, domestic and abroad, as the recognition of his expertise in the field of Intellectual Property Rights.

As a result of his hard work and perseverance throughout the years, now Am Badar & Partners has become one of the most prestigious Law Firms in Indonesia specializing in Intellectual Property, with a large quantity of associates, as well as clients, all over the world.
